Theme : The theme of this kettle is Oye Balle Balle !!! This art piece brings out my affection towards Indian Punjabi culture that I have always admired. I tried to show the highway food outlets ’dhabas’ are synonymous to Punjabi food and I have painted the famous low seating beds known as ‘Khatiyan’ which we see everywhere in the Dhabas (Countryside restaurant) creating a charming friendly ambience for the guests. The human forms are dressed in ethnic Punjabi dresses .The attractively dressed loudspeakers attached to bamboos and the people singing give a complete feel of Punjabi Culture merriment.
